Ever since I returned from my vacation, I’m realizing I haven’t written a lot of updates on my fitness journey!
Well… I have been slowing getting back at it. It is hard to come back to a routine after a week-long of not doing anything. It’s been what… 3 weeks now?
I haven’t been so great with my nutrition, but I have been focusing more on my running. The past 2 weekends, I have run a 5 km route outside. It was hard, but I did it! I strongly believe that the intervals I have done since January have helped me with recovering my cardio faster. If I play my cards right I should be able to reduce my time by at least 2-3 minutes! Hopefully, the weather will work with me as well, since nothing can compare from running outside.
I am planning to reduce the gym to 2 times per week and run at least 3 times outside. With my race coming up this June 3rd, I really need to step it up if I want to finish it within 29 mins or less. I need to build my stamina and run longer. I hope I can do it. I feel I might be disappointed if I don’t.
I don’t have any celebration coming up, so there are no excuses to eat poorly from now on!
