Sorry I haven’t made my usual weekly update post this weekend. I have been fighting this tenacious virus all week long and still am, so I haven’t been at all at the gym last week and was not at my 100%.
I have been going to work, sat in front of the TV for a few hours in the evening and went to bed plus my weekend consisted of sleeping, lying on the couch and occasionally go out to get something to eat and came back home.
Pretty much a lazy and off week.
I went to see the doctor on Thursday… I never do that for something like this, but since it has been more than 4 days I was taking those over the counter cold medicine and it wasn’t working, I decided to go and I pretty much got sent back home… I was told I had to wait it goes away on its own and if it got worst in the next 4 days to come back. Pretty much laughed in my face. Luckily, it got better, but I guess I should continue to figure it out on my own!
I pretty much went through 2 packs and a half of cold medicine, my stomach started to feel a bit off… so I reduced the dosage since it got better, the only thing is that I’m still coughing…
anyway… enough is enough… I need to get back to my exercise routine and I find it really hard now after a full week not going… I would rather sit on the couch and relax… but I can’t fall into this trap… I have come so far…
I don’t really want to, but tonight is the night I get back to the gym… even if it means I go easy… who knows, maybe it is what I need to get rid of the remaining of this virus.
